MrKen 3D Designer Ceiling Fan with Worry-Free ABS Blades
This is the ABS version of the MrKen 3D Solid Wood Designer fan. This is the most popular model in MrKen’s whole ceiling fan range selling an impressive 13,000 units in Asia last year alone. It is the core part of the Design Collection and it is easy to see why it is loved by customers, architects and interior designers alike. It is specified for only the most luxurious 5* resorts such as the Amari in Phuket and Six Senses Laamu in the Maldives. The simple but very stylish design with a slim body in popular contemporary finishes makes this the ultimate fashion accessory for your room whether at home or in the office, hotel or restaurant.
But don’t be mislead by the design which is surpassed only by its amazing performance. Inside is one of the world’s highest quality most efficient DC fan motors. The motors are made in Taiwan which is renowned for its motor and DC control technology this fan uses the very latest second generation DC technology which is far more robust and reliable than that used by most of the competition. Variations and surges or spikes in power or voltage are filtered out by its ingenious voltage protection system. Its ultra-low energy consumption means an amazing 3W is all that is required to run it at slow speed rising to 38 W at max.
Even more impressive is it’s operation that is totally silent making it ideal for bedrooms where it can be left running all night giving a far more pleasant alternative to air conditioning. The fans are hung on a short 8″/20cm drop rod using a hemispherical ball that locks on to the end and fits into a hanger bracket inside the canopy (all supplied).
The MrKen 3D Designer ABS is also available as a hugger/flush mount version with the adapter kit to give a drop from ceiling to bottom of the fan of 23 cm instead of 38 cm a saving of 15cm/6″ – please call our office to order.

I have purchased 3 of these for my lounge and bedroom. I had to spend a bit of time getting them balanced as they were wobbling to start with which wasn’t as simple as I was expecting. They are not only a great looking fan but work so well with the 6 speeds. I just leave them running all the time on low speed as totally quiet and cheap as chips to run. Compared to my ugly old fans they are – excuse the pun – a real revolution!

I bought 10 of these for my holiday home in Thailand (pictured) and they are simply brilliant. They look very modern and fashionable providing a nice simple clean focus to the room in lovely finishes unlike the fussy plastic old fashioned design of most ceiling fans. They work amazingly well and are also totally silent which is essential for the bedrooms. I have turned the air conditioning set temperature up (ie reduced use) since it was too cold with the fan running as well. They are saving me a lot of money since during the daytime I no longer use the air conditioning at all as the fans are sufficient.
