Drop rods are used to lower the ceiling fan to the correct ceiling height which should be a min of 2.4m above floor level for safety reasons and not much above that for performance reasons – see the diagram for the optimum length. These drop rods only work with CasaFans and are available in 24″/60cm and 48″/120cm lengths.

Can be shortened by cutting to length and drilling an 8mm diameter hole the same distance from the end. Made of powder coated mild-steel.- Inlcudes snap connectors on a wiring loom to extend the wiring easily that goes inside the drop rod to the motor and light.
