Genuine Hunter Speedboat Remote – Last few left ever!
The Hunter Speedboat remote control pack 24750 has a lovely stylish design and shape. Unfortunately, this great product has now been discontinued and is fast becoming a collectors item. We have only a few pieces left from the final production run and they are no longer available anywhere Worldwide.
The Speedboat is an RF 3-speed Hunter fan control with light dimmer and low battery indicator for use with AC ceiling fans only. The pack comprises both the remote control handset/transmitter and receiver. One remote can control many fans or if you have multiple fans then you can assign a channel to each fan for separate control.
If your fan doesn’t operate on a remote control already then in order to work the receiver must be installed in the canopy of your fan. This is deliberately designed to be a tight fit to avoid vibration from the fan motor and potential damage to the electronics that would result. Please check too to see if your fan will work with a remote control as most but not all Hunter fans do – please call our office to check if you are not sure.

Speedboat Installation Guide
If your fan comes with pull chains then once the remote control receiver is installed the pull chains should NOT be used as it will interfere with the setup of the controller and place the wrong load on the motor and motor start capacitors causing irreparable damage. Please follow the installation instructions to ensure proper and trouble-free performance.

Henley Fan Powerboat Remote Control Pack
We also offer our own similar designed Henley Fan brand remote called the Powerboat (which is a universal remote so will fit all AC fans but has a version designed to work with just with Hunter fans). This is a lower price but actually built to a higher specification and quality so comes with a 2-year warranty – see the link below for listing.
