Yes, I would agree these fans look fabulous, whisper quiet in operation still looks as good as new after 11 years installation. The down side, and it was a big shock, we found last week on cleaning the inside plastic coated frames of the conservatory that the sheer weight of the Hunter Seville fan and light is causing the roof spar across the top of the conservatory, to buckle and come away from the roof. The whole fan and light looked as if it would crash to the ground at any time, so we called out the electrician who had rewired our house 3 years ago to come and take the whole fitment down. He was not the person who had installed the fan/light, this was done by a well known double glazing and conservatory building firm. Unfortunately, after a long trading history, this firm went into liquidation (Pennine Windows), and sold their name on, approx. 5 years ago - therefore we have no redress with them. At the time of us buying our conservatory and double glazing they had a really good name and reputation, but I would now question their competency as far as fan/light installation goes. Their electrician did say the Hunter fan and light was difficult for him to install, and maybe we are now, 11 years on, reaping the fruits of his labour. I know this "rant" of mine really does not apply to your firm';s product';s short-comings, (but it made me feel better!), but I would like to warn anyone purchasing such a very heavy Hunter fan/light to be very careful regarding the installation and keep asking the installer questions about how safe the installation is going to be. I am very sorry to lose the use of my Hunter fan/light, as when initially looking to buy it 11 years ago, it was the absolute best on the market, classy looking - where a lot of the cheaper fans/lights, look exactly that. Ours is still in great condition, and as I said, the fan is so quiet you do not notice it is on, but having received such a fright last week to think it could have crashed down on our 4 little grandsons who are all aged under 8, and frequently sit at the table which is under the fan/light as they do their colouring sessions - it would have killed them if it had crashed down on top of them. We did not dare risk having the Hunter fan/light re-installed as we would always have the worry that it may come down on children. I just want people to be aware of the weight of the product and make sure it is safely put up. I still think you have great, classy products.

I replaced an old and noisy ceiling fan with a Hunter Seville. It is not only much quieter but it works much better and draws in the cool air much more effectively.

They have a stunning range on their website but I went for this one and never regretted my decision. Thank you for all the help you gave me to make my selection

I was a bit worried as to how a fan would fit in to my room but now it is installed I am thrilled with it. The great quality and tradition style are delightful

This is a beautiful fan - superb unbeatable quality and everything I required was half price.......How can that be beaten ?????? I am also getting back on your website now as I am considering a remote control for my fan.. The gentleman who owns his own company and is constructing our Conservatory also stated what a good quality and nice looking fan it is.

I have put up Sevilles in all my properties including the ones you see in the pictures above which are in London and Guildford. They are fantastic fans, lovely to look at, suitable for small rooms and very quiet.
