The Hunter Outdoor Elements II fan is an upgraded version of an old favourite. This fan is IP44 rated (compared to IP-23 rating for the previous Outdoor model) to stand up to mother nature’s worst. The IP standard for electrical protection donates the first digit for dust resistance and the second for moisture. The higher the number the better. An IP44 rating means that it will be protected from solid particles that are over 1mm in size and from liquids that are sprayed or splashed from all directions at a low level of force ie splash-proof so should not be left uncovered to avoid direct rainfall.
It is one of the very few genuine outdoor fans on the market with rust-free construction and 15 year motor warranty, designed to stand up to mother nature’s worst. Perfect for any upmarket veranda or outside in a condo, house or restaurant by or near the sea with UV resistant blades. Also ideal for conservatories, sheds and garages that might get damp in the winter from condensation.
