Henley Ceiling Fan Archive - Tips, Pics and Articles

Our latest news is now posted on our Facebook page - click on icon in the page header on our home page.  Here we have our archive of useful ceiling fan articles and showcase galleries of our customers installations. Nowhere else will you find full and detailed case studies of the brands that we sell Hunter, Minka Aire, Lucci, MrKen, Matthews and Star.  We want to spread the valuable message of using energy-saving ceiling fans instead of energy-hungry air-conditioning.   This site is intended for the 240 volt world of ceiling fans, ie for those of us who live outside of the USA as the models are different due to not only the voltage but also the electrical frequency of 60Hz instead of 50Hz.

We have published some unique, interesting and useful articles here about various aspects of ceiling fans and their use.   Our main site is also packed with information about ceiling fans and what models to buy, click here to access it Henley Fan.  We start off with a few examples below.

Jamie's Italian Pre-war Schoolroom

Jamie Oliver's Italian restaurant in the heart of historic Cambridge just outside Kings College.  They  decided to use the Hunter Salinas fans in its pizzeria to enhance its 1930's schoolroom theme.  They look perfectly natural and top off the theme nicely.  The Salinas combines the simple minimalist design with stainless steel curves of pre-war Italy with Californian style that could be right out of a John Steinbeck novel.   Now that is significant considering that this is the very famous former city library!

Just off London's designer brands center New Bond Street finds the very exclusive Mews of Mayfair restaurant which is a favourite of Jenson Button as well as many other rich and famous patrons. Cafe Nero Create Brunel Feel With Hunter 1886

Also in Mayfair is the Cafe Nero chain's flagship branch. They chose to go with Hunter throughout their chain of coffee shops in both the UK and overseas too. They have them in all their stores in Cyprus.  It is a beautiful example of how a Hunter ceiling fan can complement and enhance the ambiance and feel of a room. The Brunel style iron-age beams are perfectly matched by the limited edition classic 1886 Series solid cast iron Hunter fan which oozes the history and heritage of Hunter from when they started production in 1886.
